I don't have a lot of free time, and working seems to double as my hobby. But I have had a chance to squeeze in some fun now and then.

We just spent our second Christmas in the house I built. It's great living in a neighborhood where there are kids (for years we lived in townhomes where there were mostly newlyweds or retired folks). We enjoy the space and the big yard.

I have a friend who works at a local radio station. He is wonderful about getting me tickets to different concerts. A few years ago, my friend Sandi Wilson and I were attending the station's birthday party and had the chance to go backstage to meet Foreigner, the 70s rock group. I'm old enough to think this was a real treat...and the concert was great, too!

I'll keep you informed if there are any new twists in my life. There usually are!
