I started a new company in 1999. After nearly four years with TriNet Services and another year with the company we eventually merged into (Interpath Communications), it was time to say goodbye to corporate life and strike out on my own. I've found that when you add value to a company but receive none of the benefits, it's time to fend for yourself.

My company is called A R C H E S I T E. I'm doing exactly what I did at TriNet/Interpath, only smarter. The shorthand version of what I do is I specialize in Information Architecture and Design for the Web. This means that I create the structure for organizing the information that goes on a Web site and then I design the interface to support the structure. It's similar to a traditional architect's job except I work with information blocks instead of building materials.
